Below we’ll outline all of the aspirations that will be available to you as you work through your career. You can receive satisfaction points for using them also. Two aspirations will particularly come in handy when you choose either of the branches that become accessible to you when you make your Sim an Entertainer. The two branches as briefly mentioned to choose from will be the Musician and Comedian branches.
Joke Star
The joke star aspiration will be one that will apply when your Sim becomes a Comedian while playing the Entertainer career. To get better as a Comedian, your Sim will be required to write out jokes and improve their comedy act while they’re on stage.
Musical Genius
It will be a good idea to choose the musical genius aspiration if you follow the Musician branch while you take your Sim down the Entertainer career route. Here, you’ll need to use this aspiration for improving your Sim’s skills at playing instruments and when you choose to license songs, both of which your Sim can earn from.
Traits for Making Your Sim an Entertainer
Always make sure to evaluate your Sim’s traits before deciding on the right career to choose for them. These traits will be beneficial when you take your character down the Sims 4 Entertainer career path:
- Music Lover – Boost your Sim’s fun need with traits like the music lover by getting them to have fun while they play their instruments. The more they play, the better the chance you give them to become inspired. Another way to improve their fun is to have them listen to music too.
- Goofball – Help your Sim to feel more playful while using the goofball trait. Being playful comes hand in hand when you choose for your Sim to become a Comedian as it will help your Sim tell better jokes and make other Sims laugh more. This makes playful the most useful emotion to have when your Sim works in comedy.
- Outgoing – When choosing for your Sim to be a Comedian, the two main skills you’ll need to have are the comedy and charisma. Outgoing is another trait that will help your Sim better its charisma as it will like to spend time interacting and communicating with other Sims.

- Great Acoustics – Your Sim will become better at using musical instruments when using the lot trait called the great acoustics. You can have them play and improve their skills at the guitar, piano, violin, and more!
- Convivial – When choosing the Comedian career, the convivial trait will be the one to use. This will give your Sim an upper hand when working to build the skills they’ll need when choosing this branch like the charisma and comedy skill.
Entertainer Career Levels
While at first, you might think that Comedian and Musician wouldn’t go well together, they allow for a fun experience when playing the Sims 4 and are fairly easy to succeed in. Mixing up your play with both the use of the comedy and music skill can make the game really fun as you work to complete your Sims 4 Entertainer career.
For your comedy skill to improve, all you have to do is write out jokes using the computer and tell them to other Sims to make them laugh. You can better your music skill by playing one of the instruments available, such as the guitar, piano, or violin as previously mentioned.

Entertainer Career Unlocks (Before Branch)
The Sims 4 Entertainer career enables you to become a Porcu-Pro Business Card Holder which can look good when displayed in your Sim’s home.
You’ll also be able to obtain the Idol Rug. This small rug might not fit the best as décor in your home, but it works well placed under a microphone when working as a Comedian.
Before selecting what career branch you’d like for your Sim, you’ll be rewarded with the Rock of Ages Retro Stereo.

Comedian Career Branch
Your objectives will change from music to charisma as you move into the Comedian career branch. But it will be best if you begin working on your charisma skill early, even before you make the shift, which you can improve by practicing jokes in front of mirrors and communicating with other players.
Writing jokes out and performing comedy acts will be two activities central to your role when working as a Comedian during your Sims 4 Entertainer career. Use a computer to write out the jokes and a microphone for telling them. The length of your act isn’t what’s most important here, but the time you spend working on them is.
One cool feature when working as an Comedian is that you get the chance to perform in space. However, you will need a rocket to make use of this feature but is worthwhile since it adds fun to the game and allows you to earn from it. With the Sims 4:Living City, you can even take your skills to the GeekCon to perform.

Comedian Branch Unlocks
There are some great features that you’ll unlock as you work through the Sims 4 Entertainer career. I Otter Be a Pop Star Art will provide your Sim with a square picture that can be presented on their wall at home. You’ve Got Talent is another award that is fun to show off and let others know how great your Sim is. You can also add in some track lighting and What Star You Are mirror too.
Musician Branch
Making your Sim a Musician is a fan’s favorite as you get the opportunity for your Sim to perform like a pop star. Take your Sim to a higher skill level as they use different instruments from the guitar to the violin and the piano. You’re only required to play your instrument for a couple of hours each day which makes the game fun while enjoying a variety of skills, all of which you can improve while meeting your daily tasks. Advancing through the levels up to level 10 will allow your Sim to make it to become a Concert Virtuoso!

Musician Branch Unlocks
The Musician career branch allows you to take advantage of some fantastic features while you move through your Sims 4 Entertainer career. A single rose that sits in a vase is the first one you’ll unlock, which you can place on your dining or bedside table and will look pretty while displayed in your home. After this, the Charts Music Award will be made available which will allow you to show how skilled of a Musician your Sim is!
After this, the Classic Genius Antique Piano and Rock Legend Signed Guitar are some new instruments that your Sim can use as they progress in their Musician skills.
