1. Sims 4 Web Developer Career: Creator Developer Goddess
This is a 10-level career mod that will have your sims coding their way to the top.
Your sim will start as a Copy and Paste Master and, if they work hard, they can eventually become a: Developer God or Goddess.
Compared to some of the other careers the starting pay for this career is good at $29 p/h
2. Sims 4 Cosmetology Career: Creator ItsKatato
This is one of the coolest and most interesting careers on our list because it allows your sims to give makeovers to other sims.
There is a version that lets you do makeup and a version that lets you do hair. This is a sims 4 active careers mod so you’d be able to buy a chair and watch your sim doing the actual makeover.
As it’s an active career mod you’ll be given a list of job offers to choose from. you’ll also be given tasks to complete as well.
Unfortunately, this mod requires Island Living, Get Famous, and Get-To-Work. It also relies on the use of other mods. As a result, I’d advise reading the download page carefully before downloading anything.
3. Sims 4 Rocket Scientist Career (Aerospace Engineer): Creator MidniteTech
Do you find the ‘rocket science’ skill a bit of a useful skill? Well, now you can make use of it in a career! With the Rocket Scientist Career by MidniteTech, you can now have a full-time career as an Aerospace Engineer.
This profession has just one branch and no rewards or uniform, so keep that in mind if you like all of the above when it comes to a job in the sims.
4. Sims 4 Adventurer Career: Creator Simularity
Were you like me growing up watching Indiana jones wishing you could go on cool adventures and get paid for it? Well, now your sims can with the adventurer career mod by Simularity. This 10-level career has your sims doing things like searching for treasure, exploring ruins, and more.
For this mod to work you will need the jungle adventures pack, as your sim will be required to travel to Selvadorada.
5. Sims 4 Airline Career: Creator MidniteTech
Have you ever wanted to be a pilot or work for an airline? Well, now your sims can with the Airline Career by MidniteTech.
This mod includes two different branches Pilot and administration. So, if you want to work on the ground or up in the skies – this is the perfect career for you.
6. Sims 4 Accounting Career: Creator MidniteTech
If you’re looking for a more traditional career, the Accounting Career by MidniteTech is a great option. This mod adds in a new nine-to-five career. So perfect for sims who have a family and don’t want to work weekends.
7. Sims 4 Private Investigator Career: Creator BosseladyTV
This is a career that will have your sims sleuthing their way to the top. This is a career that would be a great addition to your storylines.
This is only a rabbit hole career so you won’t be able to follow your sims on their sleuthing sessions.
The great part is though once they hit level 10 they only have to work 9-2 Mon- Fri will be bringing home $397 p/h so great hours to fit in around kids and a busy family schedule.
8. Sims 4 Animal Shelter Career: Creator KiaraSims4Mods
This is a fantastic profession for your sim who enjoys animals.
With the Animal shelter Career by KiaraSims4Mods, your sim will be looking after shelter pets.
This career only has 5 levels, but there is a lot of daily tasks that will keep your sims busy and animals should show up on your lot daily.
9. Sims 4 Animal Rescue Career: Creator PurpleThistles
This mod is similar to the last one, but with this one, you actually get rescue dogs and cats to take care of them, and then eventually put them up for adoption.
One of the best things about this job is that you only have to spend an hour a week at a rabbit hole career location. This has to be done so that your sim can be paid.
10. Sims 4 Event Planner Career: Creator Simmiller66
The ability to be an event planner was available in previous editions of The Sims. However, one has yet to be added in The Sims 4, so a fantastic cc creator has provided us with a version of it.
With Simmiller66’s Event Planner Career, your sims may climb the corporate ladder by organizing various events. The charisma skill is vital for getting promotions in this career, so be prepared to spend a lot of time socializing with other sims or standing in front of a mirror talking to yourself.
11. Sims 4 Filmmaker Career: Creator KiaraSims4Mods
This is another great career mod. This one allows your sims to pursue a career in filmmaking.
Your sim will start off as a ‘Background Extra’, but then has the option to work up to a ‘Distinguished Director’ or ‘Superstar actor/actress’.
Unlike the acting career in Get Famous, which allows you to follow your Sims to work, this profession is a rabbit hole one.
12. Sims 4 Personal Trainer Career: Creator KiaraSims4Mods
Is your sim a fitness junky? Well, now they can turn their passion into a profession with this personal trainer Career by KiaraSims4Mods
All they will require is the fitness skill and if they have a degree in biology they’ll jump straight to the gym instructor level
13. Sims 4 Factory Worker Career: Creator Alpha_Waifu
This is a great mod for those of you who want your sims to have a more working-class type of job.
With the Factory Worker Career by Alpha_Waifu your sim will be working their way up from the position of Chemical Manufacturer to eventually becoming Automobile Manufacturer.
14. Sims 4 Real Estate Career: Creator KiaraSims4Mods
Yes, I know that this is not the most exciting career, but I’ve always dreamed of having a real estate job in The Sims 4 so that I can fulfill my selling sunsets dream.
With this mod, your sim may become a full-fledged real estate agent. They begin as a receptionist and work their way up to becoming the owner of the agency.
A great component of this mod is that if your sim has a university degree, they will be able to advance to level 4 ‘Buyers Agent’ right away.
15. Sims 4 Ultimate Nursing Career: Creator ItsKatato
This is one of the coolest career mods as it includes 7 nursing branches that your sim can pick from and then branches off into graduate careers like a nursing manager, surgical nurse, and nursing educator. Just like you could as a real-life nurse.
This is an excellent career mod because it includes seven nursing specialties, each of which may be followed to acquire a graduate degree in nursing such as nursing manager, surgical nurse, and nursing educator. Just like you would as a real-life nurse.
If you have the University Pack, be sure to download both files since if your sims have a degree, they’ll be able to skip the first few levels of the nursing profession.
16. Sims 4 Chiropractor Career: Creator MidniteTech
This is a medical profession that has been added in via a mod. It’s a great addition to the game and gives sims another option when it comes to choosing a career.
As a chiropractor, your sim will start off trying to sell chiropractor services at the local shopping center and work their way to being a master chiropractor and owning a shop.
17. Sims 4 Office Secretary Career: Creator Alpha_Waifu
This career is not your average office secretary career. This is a vintage version meaning your sim will be filing papers and using a typewriter.
The only skill required for the job is the charisma skills so this career would be perfect if you’re doing a decades type challenge
18. Sims 4 Game Developer Career (Semi-Active): Creator MidniteTech
Do you enjoy the semi-active careers like those found in city living? If that’s the case, this career is for you, since your sims may work from home or visit a rabbit hole location. This profession is ideal for sims with young children.
One of my favorite careers to play in the sims 4 is the social media career, and I’m overjoyed that I now have a similar alternative career for my sims.
19. Sims 4 Travel Writer Career (Semi-Active): Creator MidniteTech
Being a travel writer is my dream career, so when I saw this mod, I was ecstatic and immediately stopped what I was doing to download it.
I always found the writing career is the base game a bit boring as it was just a rabbit hole career, but this mod changes that as your sim will now get paid to travel and write.
20. 22 Odd Jobs Megapack: Creator MidniteTech
Have you enjoyed the odd jobs that came with island living and have played them time and again but are now getting bored?
Then this pack is a must as it includes 22 different odd jobs. They won’t all show at once, but every day the listings will change giving you more choices.
Remember though this will only work if you have the Island Living Expansion Pack.
21. Sims 4 Modeling And Makeup Odd Jobs Mini Pack: Creator MidniteTech
Another odd job’s pack, but this time it includes 5 odd jobs focusing on modeling and makeup.
22. Sims 4 Part-Time Recruitment Agency Pack(Adults & Teens): Creator MidniteTech
Does your sim need a job that works around their busy family or is your teen sim looking for a job? Then this part-time recruitment agency is perfect as it will offer a range of jobs with flexible hours.
23. Sims 4 Simoleonz Online Jobs Mod (BGC): Creator MidniteTech
Is your sim looking for a job they can do entirely from their computer and not have to leave the house? Well, look no further than the Simoleonz Online Jobs Mod.
Teens and above may work from home, so it’s an ideal option for earning money while maintaining a busy schedule.
24. Sims 4 Earn As You Learn Online Apprenticeships: Creator MidniteTech
Does your sim want to do further education, but can’t afford to? Then why now have them join the ‘earn as you learn program’.
It’s part-time, but you’ll get paid while you study and there is a range of courses to pick from.
25. Sims 4 Astronomy Career: Creator MidniteTech
We have the astronaut career from the base game, but there’s no astronomy career.
This is a fantastic profession for any Sim looking to learn about space and the stars without necessarily wanting to go into space themselves.
26. Sims 4 Art Specialist Career: Creator MidniteTech
The base game came with the panting career which wasn’t bad, but it was just focused around panting which after a while did get a bit boring.
This career is different as your sim will be an art specialist starting as an art museum guide. Working their way up to an Art gallery owner and Art dealer.
27. Sims 4 Banking Career: Creator MidniteTech
The banking career is perfect for any sim who wants to work in the financial sector.
With this career, your sim will have the opportunity to work their way up from a switchboard operator to an area manager.
For a sophisticated wealthy sims 4 family storyline, I see this as the perfect career.
28. Sims 4 Body Artist Career: Creator MidniteTech
Do you recall in The Sims 3 that you could become a tattoo artist? Unfortunately, EA has yet to replicate it for The Sims 4. Well, with this mod, your sims can now become tattoo artists or body piercers.
It includes two branches where your sims can become world-class tattooists or a piercing studio owner.
This is a rabbit hole career, but it’s still cool. You won’t be able to watch your sims get tattooed in this one, but it’s an excellent addition to the game.
29. Sims 4 Auto Shop Career: Creator MidniteTech
This is an excellent career for sims who love working with their hands and tinkering with cars. With this mod, your sims can now become mechanics and eventually own their own auto shop.
30. Sims 4 Angler Career: Creator KiaraSims4Mods
Do you recall in The Sims 3 that you could become a tattoo artist? Unfortunately, EA has yet to replicate it for The Sims 4. Well, with this mod, your sims can now become tattoo artists or body piercers.

31. Sims 4 Chocolatier Career: Creator MidniteTech
Who doesn’t love chocolate? Well, now your sims can turn their love of chocolate into a profession by becoming a chocolatier.
They will begin work as a chocolate store assistant, progress through the ranks as a pastry chef, and eventually become master chocolate judges.
32. Sims 4 Firefighter Career: Creator KiaraSims4Mods
Missing the firefighter career from the sims 4? Well, with this career mod, you can now have your sims become firefighters.
The best part is this is an active career mod so you can follow your sims to work.
I’ve downloaded this mod, but I’m yet to test so if any of you have tested it let me know in the comments what you think of it.
Also, another cool feature about this mod is that if your sim has Biology or Psychology degree they will jump to the Fire Safety Instructor level.
Just remember though as this is an active career mod you will need the ‘Get To Work’ pack and for this one you’ll also need ‘Strangerville’. Then you’ll also need the university pack if you want them to jump ahead in this career.
33. Sims 4 Military Career: Creator KiaraSims4Mods
You may be thinking we already have a military career with the Strangeville pack, which we do but this one is slightly different as it’s an active career. As you can follow your sims to work.
You will still need the ‘Strangerville’ and ‘Get To Work Pack for this to work.
34. Sims 4 Makeup Artist Career: Creator MidniteTech
With this career, your sim will start as a makeup academy student and work their way up with the choice of ether being a makeup mogul or sfx movie monster magician.
Unfortunately, this is a rabbit hole career, and you won’t be able to watch your Sims doing makeovers.
35. Sims 4 Resort Owner Career: Creator KiaraSims4Mods
Has your sim dreamed of owning their own resort, well now they can with sims 4 resort career mod.
It’s too much to explain here as to how it all works so I’d just link a video below from the creator that explains it all.
36. Sims 4 Stylist Career: Creator KiaraSims4Mods
I just love the active careers so much as I love being able to follow my sims to work, instead of just speeding up time waiting for them to come home.
This active career is a 10-level stylist career that comes with a host of new computer and social interactions.
I’ll also include a video as well so that you can see this mod in action.
37. Sims 4 Politician Career: Creator KiaraSims4Mods
We did a politician career in the sims 4 city living pack but wasn’t an active career. This mod just gives you an active career version.
With this modification, those with a bachelor’s degree in communications, economics, or history will be promoted to the Lobbyist level.
38. Sims 4 Active Daycare Career: Creator itskato
This is an active career mod that allows you to run your own daycare. It comes with five levels and each level will allow you to have a different amount of toddlers and children.
Your Sims won’t be paid hourly when they work in this profession; instead, they’ll be compensated per day per kid and, depending on their skill level, may also earn a little bonus payment every week
39. Sims 4 Kiddoodle Job Listings: Creator itskato
Do you wish your child sims could start earning their own pocket money? We’ll know they can.
This mod adds a new interaction to the phone called “Kidoodle Job Listings”. This allows your child sim to call and selected odd jobs specifically designed for them.
This would be great paired with SNB mod as you could then put the money that your child sim earns straight into their account instead of having to leave it in the household funds.
(The SNB mod is a whole other post, but if anyone is interested let me know in the comments and I’ll film a video or write a blog post discussing it further)
40. Sims 4 Veterinary Technician Career: Creator itskato
If you have the sims 4 cats and dogs, you can open a vet, but sometimes it would just be nice to work at vets without all that hassle.
You do only get to be a Veterinary Technician with this mod, but once you get to level 9 you do have the option of 4 specialties to pick from and the best part is you don’t have all the stress of opening and closing the vets managing employees, etc.
Your sim will now have set days and hours and get regular pay.
41. Sims 4 Child Life Specialist Career: Creator itskato
If your sim loves children and teens then this career would be perfect for them.
This career is only 5 levels. but once you get to the higher levels has a great hour pay of $290 an hour
42. Sims 4 Part-Time Careers Bundle: Creator BosseladyTV
I feel like you can never have enough part-time jobs in the game. With this mod, you’ll get 11 new part-time jobs.
43. Sims 4 Odd Job Pack – Writing Themed: Creator NerdyDoll
Do you have a sim who writes for a living, then this odd job pack is perfect as it adds a bunch of writing-themed odd jobs.
44. Sims 4 Dancer Career: Creator KiaraSims4Mods
This is a 10-level active career that will have your sims dancing their way to the top.
Finally, they can now get paid for all those hours they spend bogging on the dance floor.
45. Sims 4 Mega Odd Job Pack – 20 Animal Themed Jobs: Creator NerdyDoll
Have a retired sim or sims who doesn’t want full-time employment, then this odd job pack is perfect as it has 20 animal-themed jobs.
46. Sims 4 Fortune Teller Career: Creator KiaraSims4Mods
I feel like sims 4 doesn’t have many jobs catering to alternative lifestyles. So I was super excited when I found this sims 3 careers had been remanded for sims 4.
47. Sims 4 Active Doggy Daycare Business: Creator itskato
This is another fantastic mod by itskato. They’ve given us the ability to start our own doggie daycare businesses this time.
This mod is quite detailed so I recommend reading the download page before downloading.
48. Sims 4 Storytelling Career Mega Pack: Creator itskato
This career mod is quite different from the other mods on the list and something I wished I’d come across sooner.
It includes over 30 single-leveled careers, so all your sims have to do is go to work and get paid.
This is a great addition for storytelling, or if you have a sim in your household that you want to have working and bringing in money, but don’t want to have to spend much time with them this is great.
49. Sims 4 Unlimited Jobs+: Creator Turbodriver
Have you always dreamed of your sim having more than one job? If so you need to download this mod, as it allows you to have multiple careers, part-time jobs and freelance all at the same time.
